Enjoying the new HB?

I'd have to say I really am not. I noticed I had a PM or message and so I went to read and it said it was 3 months since my last donation or message about donating. Yano, I have no real desire to donate to this place..... especially the way it is now. I can't decorate, I don't vent like the old Amy vented.... or shared... so why bother.... is what I'm thinking....

Sorry HB, you went 21 century and lost a bunch of your followers... these things happen I guess....

What do you think? Enjoying? Annoyed? I want to know....

So why can't you decorate? HB3 allows much more control then the old system ever did.
You are not forced to donate as donations are completly up to each individual.
For the short time HB3 has been up members have donated more funds towards operational costs then the previous site did in its entire life. I already spend thousands of dollars each and every year for you to come here and have a place to hang so if members want to help it only allows me to be able to bring more functionality to the site quicker.

And besides the old site was dieing a slow death. Usage was steadily declining and feedback was Hostboard did not offer enough in terms of abilities compared to some other places. Now it seems we are holding steady in usage and in fact seem to actually increasing slowly.

i have a new yo-yo...am enjoying it...string broke the first day so it's kinda not so special anymores but i can usually find it after i throw it...mostly kinda sorta...

don't look at me. i don't know how to decorate on this damned thing... if it offers more decorating options, i sure can't find them. then again, i fully acknowledge that i have no freaking clue what i'm doing on here... don taught me how to decorate at the old HB, and it was all HTML, which apparently, we are not going to have... so i am at a loss...
you're doing better than me, i can't even get rid of the default pic in the corner, which i see you have done... *L* no matter what i seem to change on here, i.e. colors and etc, the changes do not save... i don't know if it's me, or if it's the board, but i don't have a lot of time to sit and try to figure it out.... which is a shame, because HB and decorating for me... and you... and don... and whoever else wanted me to... was a big part of things for a long time, and i miss it... *sighs*.... now if i want to decorate, i am stuck on myspace, changing my layout, where i actually know how to get something done.

oh. and p.s..... isn't the point of having a forum or a place of your own...so that you can express your opinion on any subject that YOU choose? you don't have to like the new HB... lol. i'm not enamoured with it either at the moment... i can miss the old place if i want to dammit. lol. if you choose to voice that opinion on your own board, then so be it.... it doesn't have to be a popular opinion... it just has to be an opinion... there are some feelings and some memories that new functions and features just can't replace... ya know? maybe it will grow on us in time.....

one more thing... is this what i THINK it is???!!!???

ok. so i am editing because i just went and looked around in the control panel... i dunno, amy... maybe if i toy around a little on the works board, i can figure it out... it's letting me save my changes now at least... i forgot that when i tried before, i wasn't actually listed as an owner, or even a mod. *L* so that's probably why i couldn't make any changes when i tried... it's more difficult, it seems, to change things... it's not set up for things to be changed as easily as the old HB... i don't know what anything is or does... *L* but if i play around and change things one at a time, i may be able to get something figured out... that's what the works board is for after all.. yay! i actually get to put it to use! and if i screw it up, who cares... it's not like anyone ever sees it anyway...
